Another frontend. This time for Stuart McConnachies excellent Acorn BBC B emulator. pcBBC is a DOS program and was, when it was released, (in 1997 I think?) absolutely the state of the art in emulating a BBC Model B.

Being a DOS program, pcBBC  runs rather badly under XP, and not at all under Vista. This hurdle is luckily overcome via the help of DOSBox which is a DOS emulator.
pcBBC GUI bundles it all together - the pcBBC settings as well as the DOSBox configuration are all taken care of, and it even caters for BBC disk images contained within ZIP files.
NOTE: Since you are in effect running an emulator within an emulator, you will need a rather beefy PC to run this at an acceptable speed.

Download the ZIP file - containing pcBBC GUI, DOSBox and the pcBBC emulator itself (shareware version only).
